	14 April 2014	MEASAT-3b Shipped to Launch Site Kuala Lumpur, 14 April 2014 – MEASAT Global Berhad (“MEASAT”) announced today that Airbus Defence and Space (“Airbus”) has successfully completed the final integration and testing of MEASAT-3b. The satellite left the Airbus Defence and Space facilities in Toulouse, France, and has been transported by air to Kourou, French Guiana. The satellite is due to be launched in the upcoming weeks by an Ariane 5 launcher. Launch and Early Orbit Phase operations will be conducted from the Airbus Defence and Space’s spacecraft control centre in Toulouse.

	15 October 2024	Sarawak Signs MoU with MEASAT to Support Space Industry Development Kuching, 15 October 2024 – The Sarawak Multimedia Authority (SMA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MEASAT Global Berhad (MEASAT), Malaysia’s premier satellite solutions provider to enhance Sarawak’s space industry development. The signing, witnessed by YB Dato Sri Julaihi Narawi, Minister for Utility and Telecommunication. The MoU exchange ceremony will follow during the International Digital Economy Conference Sarawak (IDECS) 2024 on 16 October 2024, officiated by YAB Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, Premier of Sarawak, at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching. Advancing Sarawak’s Space Industry: The Sarawak Multimedia Authority (SMA) and MEASAT to propel the state’s space industry forward. 	1 July 2024	MEASAT partners with Sun TV for Global Multi-Language Channels Distribution Kuala Lumpur, 1 July 2024 – MEASAT Global Berhad (“MEASAT”) – Malaysia’s premier satellite solutions provider, has signed an agreement with Sun TV Network Limited (“Sun TV”), one of India’s largest media conglomerates, to support the distribution of 37 TV channels via the MEASAT-3d satellite. These channels broadcast in seven languages, will reach over 140 million households in India and extend to audiences in the Asia Pacific, Europe, and Africa.
	29 May 2024	SPOTV partners with MEASAT to Bring Top-Tier Global Sports to Fans Across Asia Pacific Kuala Lumpur, 29 May 2024 – MEASAT Global Berhad (“MEASAT”) – Malaysia’s premier satellite solutions provider has signed with SPOTV via its subsidiary SPOTV Media Solutions Sdn Bhd to support SPOTV’s Asia Pacific playout operations from the MEASAT Teleport and Broadcast Centre (MTBC) in Cyberjaya. The scope of the agreement entails the provision of MEASAT’s world-class teleport facilities to enable SPOTV’s Broadcast Production Suite and Data Centre services. SPOTV had previously selected MEASAT for satellite capacity and uplink services on MEASAT-3d, whereby this new expansion of scope deepens the collaboration between the entities.
	16 May 2024	MEASAT Partners Mudah Healthtech to Bring Digital Healthcare Benefits to Up to 1 Million Rural Residents Kuala Lumpur, 16 May 2024 – MEASAT Global Berhad (“MEASAT”) – Malaysia’s Rural Broadband Service Provider has teamed up with healthcare technology company Mudah Healthtech Sdn Bhd (“Mudah Healthtech”) to offer the Sihat Xpress telehealth service in remote communities enabled by the CONNECTme NOW satellite broadband service. 	6 August 2021	MEASAT to Retire MEASAT-3 Kuala Lumpur, 6 August 2021 – MEASAT Global Berhad (“MEASAT”) will retire its MEASAT-3 satellite after an anomaly on 21 June 2021. The incident resulted in a complete outage of service and is still under investigation in partnership with our satellite provider Boeing Satellite Systems (“BSS”). Despite maintaining continuous telemetry and command control of MEASAT-3, further testing and recovery efforts found that the satellite could not re-enter service. The satellite will be de-orbited in the following weeks.
