Full Time Transponder Leasing
Full Time Transponder Leases are available across the entire fleet of MEASAT satellites. The service is available for a full transponder or fraction thereof as requested.
Flexible Transponder Leasing
Flexible Transponder Leases are available across the entire fleet of MEASAT satellites. These leases can be tailored to meet specific customer requirements including capacity for new service introduction, disaster recovery or service back-up. They can be structured in terms of lease period, pre-emptability, and capacity.
Occasional Usage Services (“OUS”)
MEASAT OUS provides broadcasters with satellite capacity for Occasional Usage or Satellite News Gathering requirements. MEASAT OUS booking is available online, allowing you to book capacity at short notice. The service can be provided on a single use basis or scheduled at regular intervals, and is available across the entire fleet of MEASAT satellites.

Broadcast Solutions
Through the MEASAT Teleport and Broadcast Centre, and with alliances with world-class media companies, MEASAT is able to provide a range of services and solutions tailored to the needs of our broadcasting customers.
Broadcast Distribution
With the MEASAT satellites’ global and regional beams, broadcasters are able to distribute and syndicate TV channels to pay TV operators in over 100 countries for transmission to their viewers.
Direct-To-Home (DTH) Television
The MEASAT fleet allows viewers to receive a wide selection of local and international TV programming via a small, easily mounted satellite dish. Using high powered Ku-band payloads, the technology also supports applications such as video on demand, interactive TV and high definition TV.
Satellite News Gathering
The global and regional C-Band beams of MEASAT satellites allow broadcasters to connect remote news gathering TV crews directly back to their TV studios without the need for terrestrial networks. The MEASAT fleet is able to relay the latest news from over 100 countries to audiences locally and regionally within minutes.
Ultra High Definition (“UHD”) / High Definition (“HD”)
Working with a group of leading broadcasters, uplink service providers and channel operators, MEASAT provides HEVC / MPEG-4 based solutions that allow broadcasters to originate and distribute the latest UHD / HD channels across the region.
Video Playout / Uplink
MEASAT provides a complete video playout solution including advertisement insertion, subtitling, dubbing, encryption, uplinking and satellite distribution. From tape to electronically delivered content, and with the support of partners in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Middle East, TV channels can be originated and distributed via the MEASAT fleets to pay TV operators across the Asia Pacific region.
Telecommunications Solutions
Leveraging facilities at the MEASAT Teleport and Broadcast Centre, MEASAT is able to provide a range of services and solutions tailored to the needs of our telecommunications customers.
Broadband Internet
MEASAT supports the provision of cost-effective broadband connectivity via its CONNECTme platform. MEASAT’s ability to deliver High-Speed Satellite Broadband nationwide makes it a strategic partner to support the Government of Malaysia’s aspirations with Jalinan Digital Negara (JENDELA), that aims to achieve 100% 4G coverage in populated areas.

Cellular Backhaul
MEASAT offers its customers cellular backhaul services via satellite. Through these expanded cellular networks, customers and governments will be able to provide a wide range of telecommunications solutions to consumers. These solutions include complete cellular backhaul services and also the link which helps meet Government’s Universal Service Provisioning access in remote areas.
Managed Bandwidth Services (“MBS”)
MEASAT Managed Bandwidth Services (“MBS”) are available across the entire fleet of MEASAT satellites. This service enables customers to maintain focus on core business activities whilst leveraging on the MBS to better manage operation costs and mitigate investment risks.
Maritime / Oil & Gas
MEASAT satellite services are the foundation for service providers specializing in serving communications to the Maritime and Oil & Gas industries. End users in these mission critical sectors demand robust, high availability communication networks that can be relied upon 24×7.
Very Small Aperture Terminal (“VSAT”)
MEASAT allows customers to link multiple locations with high speed, reliable and secure satellite VSAT communication networks. These networks enable corporations and governments to build networks that span vast areas in a simple and cost effective manner.
Value Added Services
State-of-the-art MEASAT Teleport & Broadcast Center (“MTBC”) houses MEASAT’s corporate office, satellite control center for MEASAT fleet, and provides a secure facility to accommodate customers’ equipment. Ranked among the top 20 Global Teleports, MTBC offers fully redundant uplink and downlink Radio Frequency (RF) transmission, Disaster Recovery hosting, and connectivity to regional satellites via a farm of 17 antennas. Staffed 24 x 7 by a team of highly qualified satellite engineers, MEASAT’s teleport service level availability exceeds 99.97%.
Co-location / Network Operation Centres (“NOC”)
MEASAT provides a secure facility to accommodate and operate customers’ VSAT hubs, data centres and NOC. MTBC offers 1,100 sqm of co-location space, fully supported by dual incoming power supply from independent sub-stations, dual Uninterruptable Power Supply and additional back-up provided by generators equipped with automatic synchronizing circuitries.
Innovation Lab
The MEASAT Innovation Lab is designed to provide customers with a comprehensive test bed to develop and validate satellite applications for MEASAT satellites. This facility extends MEASAT’s support towards both local and international customers to develop new ways to utilize the MEASAT fleet of satellites.
Multi-homed IP Transit
With multiple peering arrangements and redundant fiber connectivity to local, regional and global Point-of- Presences (“POPs”), MEASAT’s IP Transit service is ideal for mission-critical applications which require high availability and low-latency connectivity, to entry-level Internet broadband connectivity. MEASAT’s IPv6-ready network ensures support for customers’ future business continuity and growth.

MEASAT has invested heavily in developing a flexible and cutting-edge solutions for channels and content providers to deliver Ultra High Definition (“UHD”) content through 91.5°E, the leading video hot slot to reach viewers in Asia Pacific, Middle East, Australia and East Africa.
